Yunseon Kim

About me

Yunseon Kim is a first-year Journalism student at the University of Hong Kong. Born and raised in South Korea, she spent her high school years on Jeju Island. Outside of coursework, she enjoys stargazing, discovering new music, and going on spontaneous food adventures. She also loves creating—whether it’s designing small art projects, brainstorming business ideas, or filming videos.

Projects

She hopes that this project highlights the environmental inequalities in East and Southeast Asia by visualizing how economic development shapes plastic waste and mismanagement across the region. Her goal is to encourage conversations about sustainability, responsibility, and regional differences in environmental impact.
